What is Puzzmo Ribbit?
Ribbit is a trace-a-path word puzzle that appears on Puzzmo, the daily puzzle platform. You are given a small board of lettered pads joined by connectors, and you find words by hopping from pad to touching pad, spelling answers that share letters as they overlap. It is a clever, tactile take on word-search puzzles, and it has a devoted daily following.
Puzzmo runs its own Ribbit as part of a curated daily set. It is a lovely ritual — but when you finish it and want another board, there is nowhere official to go for more.
That is why this site exists. The Ribbit Game is an independent, free take on the same trace-a-path idea, built for players who want to keep solving. It is not the Puzzmo puzzle and it is not affiliated with Puzzmo — it is a fan-made companion with our own generated boards and word list, available whenever you want them.
How to play
The idea here is the same as the Puzzmo version. Every board is a set of lettered pads connected by links, and a word is a path that walks from pad to pad along those links without reusing a pad. Tap or drag from pad to pad to spell a word of four letters or more; release on a real word and it locks in. Find every hidden word — including the one uniquely longest star word — to clear the pond.
The controls are built for phones first. Drag your finger across touching pads to trace a path, and lift to submit; on a desktop you can click pad to pad or drag the same way. A path that is not a word simply releases with no penalty, and a two-tier hint (highlight a start, then reveal the path) is there when you are stuck, so you are never truly blocked.

Puzzmo Ribbit FAQ
Is this the official Puzzmo Ribbit?
No. The Ribbit Game is an independent, fan-made site and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Puzzmo. The official Ribbit is published by Puzzmo; this site is a free companion for players who want more trace-a-path word puzzles.
Why play Ribbit here instead of on Puzzmo?
Puzzmo gives you its Ribbit as part of one curated daily set. This site gives you a daily puzzle, an unlimited mode that generates a fresh board any time, a numbered library you can play on demand, and a full free archive — no membership needed.
Is it the same kind of puzzle as Puzzmo Ribbit?
Yes, the core idea is the same: trace a path across connected lettered pads to spell words, with pads shared between overlapping answers. The difference is that every board here is generated by our own engine from our own word list rather than reusing Puzzmo's puzzles.
Do I need a Puzzmo membership to play here?
No. You do not need a Puzzmo membership, and you do not need any account at all to play. Signing in is optional and only adds the daily leaderboard and cross-device progress; every puzzle is fully playable signed out.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free. There is nothing to install and no paywall — just open a board and start tracing paths.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The board is built for touch first: drag your finger across touching pads to trace a word, and lift to submit. Wrong paths simply release, and a two-tier hint is a tap away. It works on phones, tablets, and desktops in any modern browser.
